It’s been a wet, rainy summer in Taos and we have an abundance of purslane weed that has taken over the ranch. So now instead of running in the dusty dirt, she stays clean while chasing her ball. This weed is now everywhere, keeping the dust from blowing. Pursalne is an edible plant that is packed full of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.

Sierra shows no interest in eating it, although John has snacked on it. I am just excited that I do not have to blow dry her off every time she comes in from playing out side!

I weigh & measure Sierra once a month, so here are her stats as of July 2022: 14″ collar, girth: 24″, height to shoulder: 25″ weight: 33.5 lbs.
