Official start of summer is here as we start a summer season with 2 poodle dogs. I love having these 2 in my life, as they bring me so much joy, amid the ruckus playing together. Savanna is exploring more and has discovered her voice, as she is a bit of a barker, which we will need to work on. Looking forward to taking walks this summer with Savanna on a leash. We will work on leash walking and “come”, “lie down”, “leave it”, “do not touch”, “stay” and more over the summer. I bought a hands free leash set up from Parker & Company from Canada that allows 2 dogs to walk together without getting tangled, so that should be interesting to use. I also made a waist leash for Savanna, like the one I made for Sierra.

Sierra’s color has always been purple, and Savanna’s color is lavender.

Sierra and Savanna. Not only do these sound the same, but both are the names of places and both invoke nature. Sierra means mountain range and Savanna means a large, grassy plain, so it’s fun that they’re opposites as well.
