Summer isn’t as hot this year. No complaints from any of us. We are just loving hanging outside all together. Savanna is still learning to walk on a leash. She is a barker so we are working on that training issue. She recently discovered her reflection in the windows at night and barks. We are working on reducing the noise in the house. Savanna has also outgrown the carrot patch toy that she & all the puppies loved. Now she just wants to eat the foam of the carrot patch, so we are taking it away permanently. The puppies slept on the carrot patch and loved playing with it for hours. We have learned that some toys that are appropriate at 4 weeks old, are not suitable for 6 month old puppies. Same thing with the puppy slide. Savanna dominated the slide when the other 4 puppies where here and now she walks by it and refuses to acknowledge it as a play thing. I guess she has moved on now that she is in the “tween” stage of puppyhood.

Sierra’s colors has always been purple and Savanna’s colors are lavender/lilac.

Sierra and Savanna. Not only do these sound the same, but both are the names of places and both invoke nature. Sierra means mountain range and Savanna means a large, grassy plain, so it’s fun that they’re opposites as well.
