August 1-31 2026

Sierra has basically been recuperating all month of August. Just when we thought she was doing well, her stitches at the top and bottom of her surgery scar started to get red and then pussy. So off to the vet just before the weekend. So glad I took her back into the vet to be checked as they drained the puss area and then put her on an antibiotic. So now Sierra is back wearing her recovery suit for the next 10 days or so. Sierra is healing, but not allowed to run around. She is off leash thank goodness and can jump up on the couch and low bed, which is a relief. Warm compress 2-3 day and is healing quickly.
